Carrie Peffley holds graduate degrees from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Cambridge University in Cambridge, England. Her main areas of interest are the history of philosophy and ethics. As a historian of philosophy, she works on medieval Jewish, Christian, and Islamic philosophy, and is interested in the transmission of ideas across cultures, as well as the boundaries between philosophy, theology, and science. As an ethicist, she focuses on virtue and feminist ethics, and is interested in bioethics and ethics educational curricula.
