While religion brings people together it can also drive conflict. Your major in religious studies provides tools to help understand such conflicts. You might be interested in combining that understanding with a minor that covers issues such as diplomacy, international law and US foreign policy. This combination would enhance your resume for work dealing with the political and foreign policy implications of religious belief and conflict, and prepare you for work in government or non-governmental organizations. More broadly, the minor along with your major will demonstrate your capacity to handle diverse kinds of intellectual work.
